Day 30: 10 Weeks Old

No words for this picture.  I just love him so little munchkin, my sweetheart boy.

Day 29:

I love how happy he is (most of the time).
Love him.

Day 28: Little Eyes

Lance is definitely not one to watch TV.  However, I caught him watching a few minutes of Sesame Street and couldn't resist capturing his little eyes taking in Elmo's ridiculousness.  I love his little eyes.

Day 27: Wrestling

Oh boys.  These guys are 3.5 and 21 months old.  Interestingly enough, Nate is all about wrestling with his little brother right now.  I've seen him pull Lance off of the coffee table, off of the couch, and off of our little slide.  I'm always having to tell Nate to make sure to be nice his brother.  When Lance starts yelling and wanting him to quit, Nate needs to quit.  Sigh.  I'm seeing my future... :)

Selina *Class of 2013*

I've known Selina's mom for quite a while.  Back before I was married, I worked with her mom at Starbucks.  We spent many mornings up before the sun, brewing coffee, and serving pastries.  I remember Selina...she was still just a little girl, but every bit as beautiful as she is now.

I was so excited when she contacted me to take her pictures.  We headed out of town and up into the canyon and had a blast.

Isn't she a natural?

Congratulations, Selina! I hope you have a great time at Prom and savor every moment of your graduation night.

Day 26

Thanks to my sweet hubby for taking the first pic.  On Friday, Ryan and I went out to dinner while my mom watched the older boys (thanks mom!).  We just took Zach...these were taken right before we headed out.  It always feels a little weird to be out and about together without our entire crew, but I know they had fun with their grandma and we even got them back, bathed and in their pajamas. :)

I took these using a high ISO (3200 to be exact).  Sometimes high ISOs get a bad rap because of grain, but I'm learning that if I get the exposure right in-camera, the grain is minimized.  My settings for this shot were ISO 3200, 1/800 ss, F/2.2, and 35mm.

Day 24: Bedtime

Putting these little guys to sleep at night is always an adventure.
Some nights it's easy-filled with goodnight kisses and hugs.
Dad stays in the room longer than me and fills their mind with stories of superpowers and heroes.
Then there are the other nights.
The other nights go on and on.
Sometimes they cry-insisting that they don't want to sleep.
Some nights we hear the door open after we've tucked them in.

"Mom...I just need to get my exercise before I sleep!"

Lately, my middle child has become a bit more high-maintenance when it comes to bedtime, but, to be honest, he was always more difficult when it came to sleeping anyway.

Regardless, I find them so very adorable.

Day 22

Just looking at these pictures of my littlest guy makes my heart start beating a bit faster.  Just like with all of my boys, I love him so much.  Ryan says that, even though we haven't decided if he'll be our last, I'm already showing signs of treating him like the youngest.  At 9 weeks old, he still sleeps in our room, right next to my side of the bed and I got really sad when I packed away his newborn clothes.  Will I ever pull those clothes out to place on a new little baby again?

How do you decide when your baby-making days are over?

Day 21: Sunday Swim

With the weather in the 90's, Ryan decided that we should go swimming.  Luckily, we have family in town with a pool. They were eager to get in at first, but after about 20 minutes, they were pretty cold.  Poor little guys.

Day 20: Saturday

My baby is 2 months old already.  If you ever need a reminder of just how fast time flies, have a few kids.  It's crazy.

Day 19: Family Friday

Just another Friday night...dinner, playtime, laundry...

Day 17: Nate

My little goober.  Cheeser.  Silly boy.  Call him what you will, but this guy cracks me up.  I was getting him ready for church when he started checking himself out in the mirror.   He was making funny faces and asking me if other people would think he was cute.

Yes, Nate.  Yes, you are so very cute.

Day 16: My Lance

I debated on whether or not I should edit out the bit of chapped lip he was sporting, but I decided not to.

Why would I want to edit out pieces of our life?  Although Lance has had a runny nose for the past 2 weeks (runny noses are one of the worst parts of having a toddler...I'm convinced!), he's been in good spirits.

Such a cutie.
